White Sox Weekly Practice Schedule and a Note from Coach Barry

Our standing practice schedule is as follows:

Mon 6 PM

Thurs 6 PM

Sat 10 AM

Sun 2 PM

We also have a scrimmage game scheduled for this Sat at 11AM.

Please read the note below from coach Barry.

It's confirmed, our practice time for Saturdays are @ 10:00 AM and Sundays @ 2:00 PM, Monday and Thursday @6:00 PM (Thursdays we have to share the field). If we can get to the fields before 6:00 on Thursdays we can have more time on the field. These will be our regular scheduled practice times until the season starts.

 

 

I want to address the issue of commitment regarding practice attendance. In order for any team to be successful, all of its players need to practice together. 

We have had several practices where there were only a handful of committed players. The standard requirement for mandatory practice is a minimum of two practices per week. 

The White Sox coaches are dedicated to the development of this team and we understand the demands that school and other activities place on the players and parents. That's why we have kept the number of practices per week to a minimum. Pre-season training and conditioning are critical when it comes to preparing and competing in this division. 

Our season is quickly approaching and we have a lot of work to do. I encourage everyone to make an extra effort to be at practice, your teammates are counting on you.

 

P.S.

I have scheduled a scrimmage game this Saturday 2/28/09 at 11:00 AM. Its important that we get to the fields by 10:00 AM for our regular practice/pre game warm-up.

Ladera Little League Discount Day at Dick's Sporting Good (formerly Chic's) in El Segundo

White Sox Baseball - Let's Get It Started

It's time for another exciting season of Ladera White Sox Baseball.

We got the ball rolling on Sunday with a good opening practice.  We will be announcing the practice schedule for the next couple of weeks shortly.
