It's time for baseball!!!
If you are new to the White Sox family, we'd like to formally welcome you to the team.
For you returning players, we are looking forward to another great season.
We will get things started with a practice on Thursday night (2/18/2010) from 6PM to 8PM at Ladera. Please arrive 15 minutes early ready for action (cleats, glove, hat, long pants (preferably baseball pants), cup).
I'd like to call your attention a few items:
1) Team Blog - the White Sox blog can be found at
http://LaderaWhiteSox.Blogspot.com Throughout the season, we post all practice and game notices, along with game summaries and stats to the blog. If you happen to miss an email, you can always check the blog. You will find links to the blog, the season schedule, and team stats at the bottom of each email that I send. The links below are for last year's season. We'll get them updated as we receive this year's information.
2) Text Message Notifications - if you would like to receive text messages for game and practice notices, please reply to this email with your cell phone number and cell phone provider. For the next couple of weeks, practice times and locations frequently change due to weather issues. Text notifications can make sure that you stay in the loop.
3) If this is the first email that you have received from me, please reply so that I know that I have your email listed correctly.
4) We welcome all parents who would like to volunteer in an official capacity with the team. If you are interested in helping as a team parent or practice coach, please let us know.
