White Sox Game Recap and Schedule for the week

The White Sox used solid pitching and timely hitting to beat the tough Culver Marina Giants on Tuesday evening.  The game, which came at the end of a grueling 4 game in 5 day stretch, was called in the bottom of the 4th inning due to the 10 run mercy rule.

Navari Julius (1.55 ERA-6) pitched a complete game for the Sox and earned his 3rd win of the year.  For the first time season, the White Sox defense was put to the test.  The defense held firm accounting 10 of the 12 outs in the field.  Solid plays were made by Grant Craddolph, Cashion London, Reuben Peters, and Equan Martin. 

Offensively, the White Sox were led by Grant (2 hits, 1 RBI) and Navari (2 hits including a triple, 1 RBI).  Robert Togia, Daniel Gates, and Jabril Geter also accounted for 2 RBIs each.   Shane Early and Lawrence Gilliam accounted for 2 runs apiece. 

The win takes the White Sox record to 10-3 on the year.


Game Schedule

The White Sox will play the Culver Marina Dodgers on Saturday at 11:30 at Culver Marina.  We will go directly to Culver Marina.  Please arrive by 11AM.

The White Sox will play the Yankees on Sunday at 4:30 PM at Ladera.  Please arrive by 3:30 for warm up.
