Ladera Little League 2010 Board of Directors Election to be held on Closing Day
The 2009-2010 Ladera Little League regular season is quickly coming to a close; we hope it has been a memorable season for your player! Would you like the opportunity to make a direct impact on Ladera Little League? Interested in making decisions that regulate our league? Most importantly, would you want to help make this experience the best it can be for our kids? If so, please consider nominating yourself for a Board position!
The Board of Directors is a group of 9 volunteer parents and coaches who meet on a regular basis to offer ideas and make decisions about our league. The goal of the Board is to ensure that kids within our community are offered a fun and rewarding baseball experience.
A new Board of Directors is elected each baseball season. If there were things you liked this season, help improve upon those successes; if there were things you were unhappy with this season, this is your chance to help make improvements and guide the league to an even better season next year. Ladera Little League is only as good as the support we, as parents, provide it.
The 2010 Board election will be on Closing Day June 19th, 2010. Ballots and voting boxes will be at the Little League field ( next to the snack bar) from 12:00 pm to 3:00pm June 19th. To place your name in nomination, you must be a member of the league (parent, coach, manager, team mom, etc) and submit your name and phone number to the league via e-mail at info@laderalittleleague.org no later than 5 pm on June 18th. This is a self nomination process so if you know someone that you think would make a good board member convince them to submit their name in nomination. All nominees will be contacted to confirm interest in running for office.
